I have a 2002 hilux that I want to put 31, 10 1/2 R15 tyres on. What size rims should I get 7 or 8" wide?

I run 15x7 with 31 x 10. If your interested in White Sunrasia's, I've got a set of 5 that came on my new Lux. I've got a set of 16's I"m going to fit up, I'm in Sydney.

Cheers
Andy

I think 9R or 9.5 R are maximum legal width for the Hilix..I recall the brand new 9R are about 7mm more than the maximum diameter allowed.

hi

i have a 02 hilux and run 31x10.5-15 trail mark tyres with 7inch wide rims without a problem now!!!!when i first put them on i had a bit of trouble with the outside of the tyres rubbing on the bottom of the gaurd(near the mudflap)more so in reverse or going over a driveway on hard lock it would make you look like a fool(a 4wd that scraps)i was talking to a friend of mine thats right in to 4wd's and he said that with inderpendent suspension you can lift them with the tortion bar, this is done by 2 bolts positioned approx under the front seats,we did this and lifted it about 1.5 inches and now it dosent even look like touching,i would think 8's would only make the rubbing worse.
i hope this is of some value to you
