Hi - I am in the process of fitting a Nokia 3105 car kit to my NM Pajero. I am having some difficulty with finding an appropriate location for the handset cradle. Has anyone else fitted a cradle to their NM Pajero, and if so, where did you also put the control box for the unit ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt

Hi Matt --- Had Nokia car kit fitted to my NM Pajero by Alarm 1 in Sydney. They had also done fittings for my previous three vehicles and have always done an excellent job. On the Pajero the cradle is fitted quite neatly into the top section of the centre console/armrest. Cables are run down through a hole and behind plastic inner of the main console box and then along transmission tunnel and all auto mute and other bits were mounted up behind the dash. Slide movement of top section of console had to be immobolised so that it didn't cut the cable. Had the microphone fitted in centre above windscreen so that passenger or driver can talk at it. Also fitted a high gain antenna on the bull bar.
Hope this helps.

Hi Matt,

Yes, I can let you have photo of phone fitting. If you'd like to send me your email address through the Member Message I'll attach JPEG image to my email response.
