I just thought i'd mention some good news, i have a 47L Supakool car fridge which just died, the company is now evakool, and i spoke to teh service Manager (Jamie Yates) in QLD, he has asked me to send it back, and he is going to re-fit the fridge with the new danfos system, and buff polish and resticker the old fridge, it will come back as a fridge freezer, and all for 600 bucks, well some might say its a lot of dosh, but i have been told many that you cant repair them.

Just thought i'd mention how helpful they were.

Sounds like a good deal Marty.

You couldn't get a Fridge/Freezer of any size for that amount of money and I assume that you would get some sort of warranty on the new "donk".

Good customer relations I reckon.

Thats what mine is.

Originally a Supakool , retro fitted with the Danfoss compressor from EvaKool, and restickered as such.

Been that way for aout 5 years now.

Cost about $700 back then.

Im sure it would, look i've had mine back a couple of weeks now and its way better than it was, is now a fridge and freezer, and they buffed polished, and sent back what looks like a new fridge,

Give supakool in qld a call and ask to speak to service, the guy i mentioned in the first post is the one to ask for, and he is so helpful its not funny.

tell him you saw this post and he will look after you on the price as well
