Our resident Birdsvilleite will answer with authority, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Hi Charlie (and Footloose) - sorry LPG is not available in
Birdsville.
Charleville to the east (and possibly
Quilpie), Mt Isa to the north,
Leigh Creek (??) to the south (and no, not in
Innamincka either).

But.... but... Ruth, the guy on the pub roof told me everything was availiable in
Birdsville. (He was hiding from some "
young lady " from
Brisbane who was into handcuffs :))))))
Ahhh...the Races. How I miss the ....ummm...errr....never fear I'll just think a bit harder.

Was he the guy with the flaming
toilet paper hanging from his backside? Oh, wasn't that the year the Victorian
Police (off duty) were doing that?

Ruth, nothing to do with the post, but a question if you don't mind? I need to have a Sat Phone sent from either
Birdsville or Innaminka, which would be the easiest place to send it from, taking into account that it needs to get to me as quickly as possible! Would be sent via Aus Post. Hope that makes sense? Thanks in advance.
John

Aussie post flys into
Innamincka once a week on Wednesday. Have been known to drop in on Tuesday a day earlier for unknown reasons. I assume they leave from Port Agusta which has frequent
services back into
Adelaide. From
Adelaide only 2-3days to east coast locations.
So if you post on Wednesday in
Innamincka allow 1day to Pt
Augusta, 1 day to
Adelaide, 2 days to
Sydney = Tues / Wed following week.
Cheers,
Glenn.
