Just saw film of the scene on
Sydney news..
29 year old unroadworthy landrover.
No water
Not enough petrol
They live in the west so know the extremes
No one knew they were missing
Water within 9K and they did not know about it
No Australian in their right mind would put them selves in that position.
There is something wrong here apart from the obvious tragedy.

Yes, they rang today requesting some video and photos of the exact area. and came to collect it. Of course, we are happy to oblige.
Apparently when the guys ran out of fuel they were driving east on the Talawanna Track towards the CSR (it meets the CSR at the
Georgia Bore location). The tragedy as I understand it, was that they actually managed to walk 9km (west) but if they had walked 7km east they would have come to
Georgia Bore. GB is one of the main watering points along the CSR that you can generally rely upon as it was sunk by a mining company and unlike the historial wells sunk by Canning, this has a pump etc.
The footage we supplied showed David pumping beautiful fresh water from the
Bore along with driving footage (taken from within our vehicle) of the general region which made up 2 of the segments within the news story. The banner at the bottom of one part of our footage did indeed reference www.ExplorOz.com and we were told by family members that an abridged version was seen on
Sydney's 7 News - prime time 6pm news, as it was here in
Perth.
