Hi I have two 12v 35amphr DRYFIT batteries. I do not know much about these batteries and their website is rather vague. These batteries were freebees and have held a charge of 12.75 and 12.65 for the past four weeks since they were last charged. I understand that these type of batteries are used in electric wheelchairs (gofers) and due to their usually nightly charged I was consider using them as auxillary batteries when camping.
Can anybody give me any advice on this type of battery?

Ray,

They sound ideal for use as a portable power source for the verslite (fluro) etc.
You could mount one inside a purpose built plastic battery box such as used for marine applications. In fact, you can buy a battery box, including carry handle, meter, plugs, etc. from Witworth Marine or similar.
