Does anyone know of a 12volt shop in the Canberra or Sydney areas.
Perth has an excellent shop but I am reluctant to buy over the Web - sight unseen ! I am interested in a good quality portable 12v fluro lights for camping and flush mounted LED light for rear wagon door tailgate.

CJ, this might be an obvious one, but have you tried Lloyds Caravans at Fyswich. They seem to have a good range of things.

Its www.rpc.com.au and they will send out a full price list . they do mail order (I think) and have a nifty looking 12 led cluster for $44. I am going to try the led and compact fluro, will let you know when I try them.

Try your local electrical wholesaler. Most of them keep 12v fluro units for tradesmen and can also order in most 12v products usually at trade or wholesale prices

Try your local boat accessories store, they usually carry a good range of 12 v stuff. Also if you cant find a flush mount LED light why not make your own, Dick Smiths sell the high output LED's.

CJ, Try Whitworths Marine Supplies, have 6 stores in Sydney, they have heaps of 12 volt gear, and will send out an informative catalogue. Web is whitworths.com.au. Do mail order too, Ph. 02 9939 1055. prices are more than competitive, and service prompt. I often get orders within 4 - 5 days (west Qld).
