Guys an update if any of you are travelling and using the Priceless Campsites & Rest Areas in WA. The 4 free
camp sites around
Jurien Bay no longer (legally) exist. The Shire will direct you to
Sandy Bay just North of town. I'm told that it's not a bad area, Dunnies but no showers and no wood fires.
Cheers Dunc

Camped at
Sandy Point last year.
It has been really cleaned up. There is room for caravans, and a sandy beach with rocky headlands. Some big trees for shade, and
well protected from winds. A local farmer was catching fish from the beach while we were there. It would be possible to launch a small boat from the beach.
We enjoyed a walk over the big sandhills and looking at the "caves" at the southern end af the beach.
