I am trying to locate an oil filter sandwich plate to fit between the oil filter and the engine block on my 1HZ diesel to give me access to the oil system as I want to feed the turbo and a bypass filter from this point. Or is there another point that I can tap into. I do not want to use the oil pressure sender outlet as I get low oil pressure readings due to the amount of oil flowing to the filter and the turbo.

If you have a oem motor manual, have a look at the way the oil system is set up...There is a oil cooler in the engine block that oil pressure flows through that has some relief valves on it.... this might be the place to tap the bypass into...your motor needs all that oil pressure. Keep the turbo feed on the sender line as this is the best place to feed it from.
There is a place in Perth than manufactures these toilet roll filters....they would be able to give you a heads up
