Any experience with either trackabout camper trailers or paramount aluminium trailers.

Both are made in SE Qld and are entry level trailers. Have been unable to find any independant commentary on either apart from testimonials on their own web sites.

trackabout are aparantly used alot by hire companies.

any help appreciated.

Dont know about the paramount mob ,are they the ones flogging off ally trailers at the Caboolture markets ?? if so give a big miss ,totaly shody welds and looks as if put together without any jigs or a master plan, just make it up as you go,,,,
If you are after a good quality + custom built ally ct give pacific trailers a call down at logan villiage ph.07 55470088 ask for Danny ,hes the owner operator.

We own a Trackabout Safari full off road model, bought it April 2004, it has been brilliant, no trouble what so ever, we have taken it along some pretty nasty tracks through NSW, we have toured around Tassie with it, setting up is a breeze, its comportable to sleep, its hardly noticable when you towing it, quality made, John & Cheryl from trackabout are very helpful, round australia warranty, good quality canvas, our only conecern was the towing weight, we had a 3.0Ltr V6 4Runner, maz towing 1500KGS, the trailer dry is 660kgs, when fully loadind it around 1000kgs, then we loaded the 4B with our bodies and the like, and we were near capacitiy, traded it for an 80 series Cruiser, have no worries now.
We looked around for 12 months and whent to almost all the 4x4 show, talked to everyone possible, found the Trackabout had all the bell & whistles for a great price, we just couldnt go past it, if you want to chat more, drop me an email

Regards
Mark
