Second thoughts. Why don't I just put it in here & others may benifit.
Hyperlink Procedure:
At the bottom of a Post Follow-up or Post Reply you will see the following:-
To Post Hyperlinks:
For links: link text
Use Windows Copy & Paste to insert the hyperlink into your Post
Select the Hyperlink line, leaving out For Links: by holding down the left mouse key and swiping the remainder of the line so that it is highlighted. Press the Ctrl and C keys together to copy the selection into memory.
Place the cursor at the desired position in your Post and Press the Ctrl and V keys together to Paste a copy of the selected text into the Post.
The domain.com/path is replaced with your Website URL (in the case of the sample I have used the Exploroz Website) and optionally, the link text bit with something along the lines of:- Exploroz.
So, ignoring the For Links: prefix, you should end up with:-
Exploroz
The result on the
forum post will show simply as Exploroz and if you place the cursor over the link reference, the full URL will be displayed.
Cheers,
Bill
