Anyone bought BFG 265/75 16s recently? How does that price stack up?

Another question on tyre rotation.

I've been led to believe that front tyres wear out quicker, which, due to cornering, is logical and that rotating from back to front is actually just a waste of money. In fact the tyres should be treated as 2 pairs, front pair and back pair and when the front are worn out only they should be replaced without rotating.

Your thoughts?

Hi G-wizz,
I found the front mainly wear on the outside and the rear wear in the center. So rotating make sense.

Where were you quoted that price? I'm after four of exactly that size and was quoted $265. I'm in Sydney.

I'm in Darwin and by the looks of it that's an extra good price because generally everything is more expensive up here. I guess I should buy.
