Can someone please tell me if the
Innamincka general store sells fresh milk or just UHT (or as my wife would say, UHF) or frozen, and if supplies run a bit low towards the end of the week ? I assume bread is frozen ? I seem to remember Bridsville has fresh milk but it was a bit scarce just prior to the new delivery.

I can't remember the milk, but I do remember the fresh baked baguettes! I think they also do bake bread. In any case supplies are pretty good due to the fact that Moomba gas fields are close by. It's a good
shop.
The Pub's Sunday night roast is not to be missed. Make sure you book. People come from far and wide.

Not that I buy milk but I am positive that fresh milk is available as
well as fresh baked bread.

Hi Steve,
In answer to your question,
1. Because this is more fun
2. Because I not only have answers to my questions, but I also now know about the fresh baked baguettes and the pub
3. Because I decided to do it this way instead of the phone.

Longreach this particular person Steve seems to take the position of website s------s, a few weeks ago I informed on this website about the cost of fuel where i live in WA, he comes on and tells me to stop whinge'in and why do i live in this particular town, seems you cannot inform people or ask relevant questions without him making some comment.
Cheers
PS: Noticed how you can't access his details, must have something to hide.

Innamincka Trading Post phone number is: (08) 86759900 and their supplies come in weekly now.
Birdsville is supplied only fortnightly with fresh milk and it is sometimes difficult to judge how much is needed to supply everyone and should it ever rain again, that can hold the supply truck up even longer.

The
Innamincka store is one of those that you could happily browse around for some hours, except that there is a damn fine pub next door!

Jim
