Hi,
I have been looking for the largest roof rack I can find for the gutterless 100 sereies L/C. I had an 80 Series previously with an ARB which was 2.2m long and what built like a tank, but the equivalent for 100 series is only 1.79m long.

I have found an alloy rack at Opposite Lock which is 2.1M, I beleive it comes out of W.A.

Does anyone have any feedback, advise or comment?
Thanks guys.

there is a mob called jaram roof racks (also in wa) that do anything and also custom build - though i dare say if you are prepared to pay anyone will build anything for a price. rgds
Slow down and relax......

If you were near Gladstone Qld. I could sell you an ARB rack which I had on my 80 series and have had converted to fit the 100. Has a 10ft. tinnie which locks onto it. Good solid rack not likely to fall apart.
Cheers, Nev.

whereabouts are you tg? There's a bloke in Brookvale, Sydney does a good un. Aluminium engineering. His Defender was featured in a recent (2 or 3 issues back) Australian 4wd mag. I've seen quite a bit of his work cos I sometimes work in the same complex. Looks good.

hi tg,
i was going to buy a roof rack for my 100 series and searched around and couldn't find what i wanted so one weekend went over to a mates engineering shop and made one for a fraction of the price i made it 1250 wide x 1850 long and then went on a trip loaded to the max with camping gear and 80 lt of fuel and 20 lt of water on top made from 25 x 25 square tube bent in tube bender looks professional and is light .done over 10,000 km with all that weight and no problems over some of the roughest tracks i'll sell ya mine or i can do you one for about 500 bucks
