Hello All,
Looking around for a suspension upgrade for a 100 Series base wagon, otherwise known as "Poverty Pack"
The Ironman gear has caught my eye for what people have to say about it and the price seems reasonable.
Anyone got any alternatives, I'm prepared to "mix and match" shockers and springs from different suppliers.
Oh, forgot to say, their "B" spec springs seem to match my intended use best.

I have 2 black coloured rear suspension springs that are surplus to my equirements that will probably fit your 'Poverty Pack' pricing if you are interested. I live in Sydney (Hills district)

Hello KiwiAngler,
Excuse my ignorance, but what are "black coloured rear suspension springs"
If they fit my requirements I'd be prepared to negotiate on them. Got a feeling I should know the Hills District in Sydney but would prefer something more specific.

I believe the colour denotes the 'grade' of the springs.
I think the black clour denotes 'heavy duty'...I am sure others on the forum will help us both on this if I am wrong.
They are the rear coil springs out of my 100 series GXL.
Price is not negoiable!!...cant go any cheaper than free :-)
'Hills District' covers castle/Pennant/Seven Hills area (dont want to be more 'specific' than that on open forum)

Hello KiwiAngler,
Price was always right, more refering to how we get together. I can be contacted on "springs at mullard dot id dot au"
Don't blame you for not being specific on an open forum. (Same as I'm not)

“The Mining Special”

I didn’t think the colour meant anything, Just the same way Lovell’s are blue, pedders are Red ect. The type/ grade of sprig is stamped on the spring I thought?

The old springs off the explorer were Black and they were Defiantly not heavy duty.
