I am happy to announce that I just joined up and I am just waiting for my email with my login details...so next time you see a post or something from me I will have a
pic of my rig :-) I have gained so much from this site in the 3 months I have used it and it can only be a good thing to join up properly....I am particularly excited about the
trips and gatherings to meet other 4x4 and camping outdoor "freaks" lol. One thing I am wondering about though is I am a pretty
young bloke and my partner is pretty
young as
well...from what I can gather from this
forum is that most members are in their 30 and over we are under 25 will it be strange or weird to go on trips and stuff with much older people? I hope not...maybe I am just being silly here...anyway I am excited and I a looking forward to some great trips and getaways.
Regards,

Damn.
I was hoping you were in
melbourne.
Because I don't think I would feel strange camping with a 25 y/o woman.
Lol..
welcome aboard.
Rule number one. Have fun

G'day Troll83, there is nothing wrong with travelling with older people. Sometimes they have some great ideas and have been
places before and are able to tell you about them. Also, they enjoy life a bit more now all the hard yards are behind them. I'm 49 in age and feel 29 when out and having a few beers around a fire just talking about the days travel and sites.........anyway, give them ago and stay excited...I am:-)

G'day Hammo,
"Sometimes they have some great ideas" Mate that's a bit harsh speaking for those over 30 I would like to correct your statement to "sometimes they have crap ideas but most of times they have great ideas"
Just another great idea!
Kind regards

G'day Beatit, I'm also from Qld. and I totally agree with you with the exception......EVERYONE has crap ideas as
well as good, that's the excuse to have a xxxx around the fire ;-).
Mine anyway LOL :-)

Troll
I'm under 25, and Id recommend going on some trips with the old farts, if nothing else than for entertainment value.
The look on the face of self proclaimed "4WD experts" when they bog themselves in hard sand and need a
young bleep head to help them out! golden.
Join up with a 4by club too if you havent already- the collective knowledge there, like on this
forum as you have found, will save you much time and money. I guess theres also a chance you may learn something from the geriatrics too.
