Been falls of 30 to 90mm across most of southern qld by the reports.
Rain just got to
Brisbane, started raining this morning.
(Sorry - liquid sunshine:-))
Been reports of 20 to 50mm on the downs.
Just enought to green up the grass for winter and not much else I am afraid.
Need the same in about 2 to 3 weeks.
If you need to
check for flooding in qld, try the racq web site www.racq.com.au.

We are off to
Broken Hill on the first weekend of the school holidays and intend to do the run up the
Darling river from Menninndee to
bourke so may pass you on the road there will be five families travelling together with a few not so keen 14 and 15 year old girls in tow but once they are on the road they will be fine. bard

I read on another site last night that the Silver City Hwy between
Packsaddle and
Tibooburra is closed - local flooding in both directions.
Also
Mutawintji to
White CliffsWhite Cliffs to
Tibooburra
Teilta to
Hawker Gate
Another poster reported that the Oil Rig on the Strezlecki Track was cut off.
We are heading off next week so are watching the weather reports closely, don't want to get stuck for a couple of days....

Eric,
Fine or raining, cloudy or clear, sunny or overcast, windy or still.
Another glorious day in paradise.
Yellow daisies popping up.
Hehehe.
