toohey,
I use Penrite HPR Light Diesel SAE 15/40 or HPR Diesel 15 in SAE 15/50, depending on Summer or Winter. Never had a problem, you will notice with 15/50 it runs a little quieter when cold.

Rang the local Nissan dealer here in Sydney, said they'd never heard of it!! He had a look on the computer and siad "Oh yeah , I'd better get some in." he said it was $33 for 5 litres.
How long have you been using it. I've been using the Nissan Voyager Diesel Oil for the last 2 years and change oil & filter evey 5000 k's.

Hi,

About 8 months. Also used Voyager before.
My local dealer (Col Crawford at Brookvale) usually has it.

Cheers

I had my Navara serviced on Thursday at Nissan.

They used some Nissan 10W-40, it cost $102.50!

Cheers,
Rob

Nissan Dealers use what ever meets the spec. and buy in bulk. The dealer I bought my Patrol from uses Valvoline. I personally use Delo 400

Correction - I have the invoice in front of me now and they sold me Valvoline Durablend 10W/40. The Valvoline web site tells me that this oil is for petrol engines, is my engine OK with this oil??

Rob
