Well we have our new site up and running,
http://www.nissan4x4vic.com/

I know Moggs had issues on the old site with emails not getting through, that has all been rectified, and the site is a whole new look.
It was done by professionals this time :D

Take a look, tell me what you think and if you find any errors, as Ive looked at it that often in recent weeks, I cant find errors anymore!

Thanks
Me.

if you really want to be pedantic on the Social page the "n" has been left out of hunt, unless thair is a hut shaped like an egg. :-) Other than that the site looks quite good, well set out and easy to navigate, very professional

Hey..
that egg shaped hut is our new tourist attraction... it cost a lot of $ :)~
:D

Since the hut has not been a success, we will revert to Hunt...

Same as above.

Real professional looking.

A few typos i.e. Commars and full-stops used together. But I wrote marketing letters & copy for a crust for a few years so my eye is pretty good.

Good pic of tyre changing. I wouldn't know how to change the carcus on the bus.

Friendly looking. Family-ish. Welcoming.

Would not hesitate to spend money with your club. It has no rat-bag element on the site.

Would be happy to bring Heidi to an event even not knowing the people.

Take a bow.

Going back now for another look.

I know what you mean Truckster.

We'd proof read and proof read. Print direct mail sometimes 500 letters would go out. thats nearly $1500 when you include envelopes paper stamps time and blah blah. Then someone would say "did you know there's a typo here?".

ARRRRHHHH

A trick is to read out loud. I mean actually mouth the words. Ya feel like a dork at first but it is amzingly effective.

Looks good Truckster....I'll try out the email contact tonight :)

...actually....looks so good I don't need to send an email - I'm convinced - I'll see you at the next meeting to join up as the PCoA membership has just run out. Not real keen to do the training thing as I've already done accredited driver training, however if all must do it then all must do it!

I just had a quick browse - great site Truckster. "Preperation" on the Driver Education page should be "Preparation".

Just one question (and you can answer off forum if you see fit) - I've been involved with a number of clubs over the years and I was wondering how political and integrated is the Nissan Club. My experience with car clubs is that they tend to disintegrate into exclusive detached sub-congregations which tend to fued with each other. Is your club like this?

Thanks for that spelling error.. :)

I agree with you on clubs IMPLODING!!! I have been in so many sporting clubs that do this. They end up with groups of people like politics WE WANT THIS Versus WE WANT TO STOP THIS... and that pi55es me orf.

We had a minor case of this but that was voted out yrs ago!

The only thing that bugs me, to me we seem to have our heads FIRMLY WEDGED up the associations arse.. Almost to the point where we dont not think for ourselves. Yet we never hear of events until after they happen.

But that was only a small part of the group of couple of 100! I dont think you would really notice any issues. Drop in next meeting with Moggs and others, have a looks see.
