As part of a greater route we are planning to drive from Mouth Augustus to
Exmouth on Monday 18th of July. I believe the "main" route would be to via
Gascoyne Junction but we would like to take the route that runs up in a north westerly direction from Minnie Creek. Any info on this route would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

We have done it twice in the other direction - first time quite some years ago when it was quite hard to find our way through the station roads - next time it was a
well signed and maintained road, signed to Mt Augustus all the way, with the road having been re-aligned in some
places to make a very obvious route. Don't know what condition the road is in at present due to weather conditions but if you get to Mt. Augustus they would no doubt know. Road through Giralia station after "crossing" the NW coastal highway (turn left for 30 odd kms) was a good road when we went that way on the first trip. Others in the area may let you know how the weather has affected the roads at the moment.

I did the route you're describing about 3 years ago. No problems going that way. The tracks are all reasonable and it's so much shorter that heading to
Gascoyne Junction and back again.
