Camping with pets on the central coast

My wife has a minature poodle which goes *everywhere*. Even take it into National Parks etc. and when rangers come round, they say they are not bothered by the small/minature lap dogs. They are concerned about the mid-size and up. This poodle has saved me at least five times from a snake, and is one awesome bush dog, even though it does not look like it.
