where are you and how did you buy your phone?
What do you mean it dosnt work? does it have power?does find the network? or your calls just keep droppping out?
I'm up in
brisbane and and a real estate agent, before that I was doing line haul from Brissie to
Melbourne. Ive been with 3 for a long time after getting sick of the crap from telstra an optus. Optus Ive had 2 phones that allways droppd out and te message bank kept failing. Telstra allways over charged me. The over chargeing got really bad and over 20 dollars a bill.
With trepidation I went to three to see what they could offer and with line haul I could talk to my wife with a video call for the sme price as a normal call.
Three has been one of the few companies thats listen to me as a comsumer and help me as my carieer has changed free of charge.
I must admit when they roamed on the vodaphone network I did experance dropouts but If I called back in under 30 secs they did not charge for the connection rate.
Now they are the telstra network I'm have a lot of problems with my mesages being delievered late. It can take up to 24 hours for a message to get to me. Thanks telstra.
At the moment I'm under the old 49 dollar cap rate with a sony erricson z1010.
the phone is fantasic. I'd never go back to the nokia range again. I carry over 500 contacts at any one time and up to 300 appointments as
well. the phone syncs with outlook very
well via blue tooth or Irda.
I've just got the high speed modem up and running and I'll let you now the costs on that. the speed from the high speed modem is faster that 1 meg adsl. three charges me $29 cap up to $100 dollars for the high speed modem at $100 a gig. the minum spend is $5 a month.
It looks like the only thing the phone cannot do is fax. thats a bit of a problem and I'm working on that.
As for the indian call centres ....Get used to it. It is what india does best. All I can say is the maxium I've ever spent holding on line is 5 minutes. the people are polite they know the products and allways very helpfull. As I've said before I wanted a product that they didn't have, they talked to a superviser and after 10 minutes made a product just for me out of 3 different plans and charged the same amount. Now you think optus or telstra will do that after sitting on hold for 2 hours.
i3web the v975 is a good and motorrola has the best computer linking software bar none. The E1000 is better if you can upgrade to the E1000. the SE z1010 is very good but let down by computer linking software and a low res vga camera the upgrade Z800 is the best phone around at the moment. the SE also has the best speakers as
well for my ring tone Ive got the rollinstones "give me shelter" at full
bore.......
If your phone isnt working take it back for an xchange phone as simple as that.
