Rumour has it there was a court case against those that built it by DSE - DSE lost.

yes tell me about it we been trying for ages to get there and when we finally did get there with a bit of trouble we were shocked to see it gone.

I was only up there at the begining of June and it got too late so we didn't try to find the hut, disappointed now....

Track to hut is closed, you have to walk in - its been closed for long time, but peopl were going round the rocks etc

Very sad to see another landmark gone forever.
Now I too as others have stated here, wish i had done that trip when I too had the chance. Feel like i have lost a part of me. I hope someone comes to their sences and rebuilds it. I am sure people like us would love to be involved it the project.
