Now that the computer is fixed, I can let Ruth know that the mighty jackaroo made it back from Birsville OK. Nice to catch up with Ruth and Karsten, in that lovely town.

The Strzlecki and Birdsville tracks were loads of fun, loads of mud and exciting in parts, But the Cordillo Downs road is just plain awful, on the SA side.

Now I'm back, there's to be no rumours of chicken runs here Ruth, hehehe.
Happy trails, Mike.

Crazie - off topic for a moment and my apologies but I was wondering what the circumstances of the puncture in you rig pics were. ie were you running deflated at speed, was it a fatigue problem, a staking etc.
Cheers
Pete

Hi Pete
Circumstance remain uncertain.
We were on a well graded road with about 28psi in all tyres, were traveling for an hour and it went bang. I have been unable to get a straight answer, was given 3 reason on 3 different occasions. No stakes or punctures visable. We were just returning from the simpson.
Who knows..

Ah ha, Happy Trails - thought you should be home by now (even in the Jack, hahaha) - hope the Van made it through without too much landing on the floor! Glad the computer's fixed. Still talking about the fantastic progressive dinner - I've still got my menu. Should be a good hint for the next lot of visitors to top that dinner, wow, fantastic! Hint, hint.
Chicken runs, what chicken runs? Did you hear about Darren in his new Nissan whilst leading Toyota's!?! lol. Was lovely to see you all again.
