Hi everyone,
We are heading to
adelaide from
sydney and plan to
camp (2wd) a few days in
darlington point along the way. Our camps guide lists numerous
bush camps - what's your favourite -- we're looking for a quiet picturesque spot.
Thanks
zj

Plenty of spots along the Murrumbidgee around that area.......closer to
Hay, you just drive in off the road at any
sign that says "RIVER". Great....and free!!!

if you take the back road all full sealed great road from
Hay back to the highway via
Maude (go over bridge into
Hay and watch for signs on left) and take the
Maude Rd it runs all along the back of the Murrumbidgee. Best place is past
Maude where the Murrumbidgee is right next to the road. Great green grass flat area. Fishing is great. Make sure you have a fishing licence as it is part of my patrol region

We stopped in to look at
the junction of the Murrimbidgee and the Murray in January. Saw a few people camped in the area. Looked pretty good, if we'd had more time........story of my life really. Oh
well.
It's a bit closer to
Adelaide than
Darlington Point. The access we used was from Victorian side.
