G'day, I'd like to thank everybody for their contributions on this subject ie: Jimbo, jencko, P and J, Corey K Vic, Jeff M WA, angler, Max. Sydney, Ray Bates, gqpat, 1hall, Voxson, Clen.D. NSW, Collyn. R. NSW, Mainey. WA, muzzgit. WA.
Thanks to all you guys for your advice and instilling the boost of confidence I needed
to tackle the installation myself (it is just a pity that it hissed down as I was getting into it), if only I had undercover work area.
I have ended up getting a system from battery world, here in Melbourne, went with the Redarch smart start, I won't go into to much detail suffice to say the whole system, 2 new batteries(new cranking as well),100amp wiring and all fittings came out to half the cost of other systems mentioned previously.
Thanks to all once again

andy

Good on ya Andy Q, good one. Yeah an undercover work area is SO good. Funny thing is over hear it's good because it keeps the sun of your back, not the rain! LOL

G'day, Well all done, sent the wife off to work after cooking her lunch, made her some dinner (she's a RN in a nursing nome) . I was left to it, all pretty simple really, batteries fitted, wiring, Redarc, fuses and sundries. About two hours, no swearing or cursin', tools away, turn the key, starts, LED lights on to show all is connected. Done
