hi guys, i am after some 15" rims (prefer sunraysia) with some 31 x 10.5 tyres on them. Second hand, tyres don't need to be great, just want to see how it effects gear ratio's before getting a good set. tried ebay but not much luck in sydney.
if anyone is looking to offload some i would be happy to buy them.
cheers db

We fitted 31x10.5/15s on the Rodeo in lieu of the std 16".
Speedo readings are only a little out. With the Speedo reading 100kph actual speed (checked with GPS) is about 105- so I always stay a little under. Down at say 60kph there's only about 2 kph difference. Sooo gear ratios can't be that far out.
I bought 6 new wheels from a tyre dealer for $250.00.
Just make sure you get the right offset to suit your vehicle.

Hi db I recently fitted 31x10x15 to my 2.8td Rodeo.I think that I have lost a bit on fuel economy even alowing for approx 4% speedo error, steering is a little vague to what it used to be, no clearance probs, ride is much better and the extra ground clearance is quite noticeable in the bush. I think I will probably get more life from the bigger tyres.
Regards Ken.
