Hi .
We are thinking of purchasing a dx nissan patrol 2005 model, it has about 10,000 kms on the clock and is only a few months old.
What is the resale like on DX patrols? Would we be better to go for an ST. It is a nice silver one and all up around $43,000. with bullbar, towbar, tinted windows, onroads, plastics and rego.
Does this price sound fair?
What do you thnk?

Sorry forgot about the motor! It is a 3 litre manual.

You'd prob get a newie ST for 48ish and will have better resale and you get more features. At the moment they are throwing in bar,
driving lights, waeco fridge.

Go for it, but offer a lesser amount if paying cash. I told salesman I wanted: both tanks full, cruise control, head light and bonnet protectors, dash mat and got them on a 2003 demo in march.

Best I could get on a 3.0 ST-S with bull bar and fridge was $50,780 on road last week.

Hey lenni, when I bought my 4.2L a few months ago, they were pricing me 46ish drive away, with all the nissan give aways bullbar drive lights etc. If you need a fixed price let me know I have a good dealer contact...(wait depends what state your in?) Im from
Sydney...
A bit better value if you can get a st new for around 3k more than a used dx with 10000klm on it, you will save more on your resale, you get to choose your prefered colour, your choice of steel or alloy bull bar, round or square drive lights, bonnet protector and a towbar mmmm...

I am interested in the dealer contact that you have. Is it poossable for you to find out what price a new st with the extras would be on road? Silver or white are our preferred colours.
We are just north of
Coffs harbour so

Hi Lenni, I rang the dealer today and my contact there is the dealer principal who is on holidays at the moment but will be back this thursday, so I will call them thursday for you..If your desperate and waiting on this price I could possibly get in contact with her but I prefer to wait till thursday...
