Holden services charges of around $600.00 each 100000 km is a bit high for a retired person on a pension, therefore I intend to do the servicing my self, all is fairly simple except knowing how many and location of the grease points.
Can any one help ????

The 100,000 service is basically just an oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, grease the 2 grease nipples on the universals and one on the front tailshaft. You can certainly do that easily. The service time is stated as 1.2 hours for the dealer.

The tappet adjustment at 110,000 and the timing belt at 200,000 might cause a home mechanic some problems.

I do all my Jackaroo servicing myself (3.5 petrol), but I will get the tappets and timing belt done by a mechanic at 160,000.

As Gerhard says, most of the servicing is simply time consuming. I get the valve shims done at the dealer (whilst praying for a fair shake) - the timing belt will be dealer based too at some stage. The front wheel bearings I have done by an accredited private mechanic I know. The rest I do - I use a servicable oiled foam air filter, Ryco version of the main oil filter and a genuine small oil filter. Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 is my oil. I use Castrol syntrans for the gears - also Castrol for the diffs. There are a few grease nipples on both drive shaft sustems - look for them on the universals, plus the splines. Glad to see you on the right track Yap - as well as over-charging you for "services", you can put your house on the fact that the dealer is not doing everything in the servicing schedule - none of them do - its a form of fraud. At least this way, you will get the servicing you are paying for :-).

My 160,000K is coming up (3.5 2000 Petrol)

I have been told not to expect change from $2000

Is there any non dealer mechanic in Sydney who could be trusted and prefferred to the lottery of a dealer or is it best to use a dealer and pray they do most of it?

Thanks
