Hi all,

I have just updated the menu code that runs the top line menu. The new menu code is supposed to support the MAC platforms. I would like to ask some of the MAC users to please see what happens when you run the new menu. If you are a MAC user then the menu at the top will not have drop downs on the bottom line buttons such as Trip Planning etc. If this is you can you please open this link Home Page with Dynamic Menus and see if the menus work. If yes or no please reply to this thread with and document what browser and plaform you used. Thanks

PS: You will need to click on this link if it does not work to tell the system to disable the menu. Once I have an understanding of the platforms that work I will adjust the code to make the settings permanent

He's talking about the menus in blue at the top of each page alongside the Exploreoz logo and the red member/Blue non member line with your name on it.

Prior to this mod, Mac users haven't had these menu's drop down; now we do

Me again! You've obviously just uddated it as I was typing you a little note at our photographers (Peter Vorlicek Photography if anyone's after really, really good advertising photography 03 9416 5111) to tell you it works with System 9.2.1 using Netscape Communicator 4.75.

I better get a reduction on the next invoice for the gratuitous plug!

OK THANKS ALL NOW ONE MORE THING I FORGOT TO CHECK.....

When you guys with the MAC's go to the link can you tell me if the Latest News scolls or not - I suspect it will not so I have to direct MAC's to dynamic menu minus the scroller forthe latest news. I just need to confirm that it does/does not work thanks again.

All,

I have just changed the MAC support script to use the dynamic menus without the scolling news - I still need the feedback on the scrolling news items please.

If you experience any problems with the menus please let me know.....

David,

Scrolling news nd menus works with all my browsers.

OS 10.3.9 and
Safari 1.3.1
Monzilla Firefox 1.0.7
Explorer 5.2.3

and OS 9.2.2
Explorer 5.0

Menus work under OS 9.2.2 Netscape 4.7 but the scrolling news does NOT using the link http://www.exploroz.com/splash.asp?Layout=7
I'll offend some people no doubt, but this is pretty old technology now and I wouldn't imagaine many people are using Netscape and OS9 still

Regards
Tim

It's OS9.2.2 and Netscape Communicator 4.7.7 to be precise. There are much more recent versions of Netscape for OS9 but I've not got them. Let me know if you want me to download them and try them.

Same reult here.
In fact the drop-downs worked on the old coding.
Scrolling news only functions on new coding with same set-up to wolfie.

drop downs work with Mac OS 10.4.2 in Safari, Firefox and Explorer. Scrolling under Latest news only works with Firefox.
In Win XP drop downs and scrolling don't work with Firefox but do with Explorer.
