Rob,

Have a squizz at http://www.lcool.org/trips/trips.html

There are a number of trip reports, photo's and track files of the Brindies.

Places to camp include Flea Creek, MacIntyre's Hut and Lowell's Flat

Worth tackling also is Mt Coree (for the 360 deg sights)

Might be worth a chain saw - have been a few trees down, especially if you are any where near the pine plantations

They are also predicting rain Wed/Thurs and possible showers on Saturday, so keep and I on that. A lot of the track become very slippery after rain.

Especially the tracks into McIntyres.

How did you go Rob?

we were at Macintyre's for a couple of nights. There were some monster trees down across tracks on the way, fortunately the chainsaw hung in there and we made it to camp around 1715. Came in via Doctor's and left via Powerline. Beautiful weather and although there had been some rain before we got there, we had no probs, even on Folly Track. Got home around 2000 last night, kids had a ball.
