Can anyone suggest who I may be able to contact regarding the retrieval of 4bie from a precarious bog on a steep slope, basically buried the old girl. Had to leave her, the more I dug the more she sunk. And the two 4bies with us nearly suffered the same fate. Never thought a bog would defeat me, but I am done trying. Willing to hand over job to someone else as I am absolutely frustrated. A short distance east of Cowra NSW,near wyangala dam, up in the hills.

Thanks truckster,
The 4bie has been there for 2 days now, 2 days of very hard work for three people, tempers started to grow short, better to give it up, and just pay someone to see her free, or roll down the hill, whichever way it goes, lol. Happy to hear any other suggestions out there.

I'll second Trucksters advice Diesel Drinker... Some of those guys appear to revel in proving the impossible possible... A liquid incentive will always get a few ears pricked up.

Let the tyres down, put the little lever into 4x4 and drive it out.

Are you best mates with Johnno???? He was in a similar situation. i.e. School holidays and bored and talking rubbish.............................

Success, after days of anguish torment and heartache, not to mention tantrums, swearing and sweat, IT'S OUT.
2 x 4bies hitched together = No chance
3 x shovels + loads of timber and rocks = No chance
1 x Tractor with back hoe attatchment = No chance
1 x Trusty NRMA serviceman with 4wd, winch and balls = Succes
Hooray for the NRMA
I would never have believed it, but have experienced it.
