Can anyone direct me to a supplier of sheet sets for 2ft6in single mattresses?
I found a supplier of this size innnerspring mattresses to suit my poptop but I can't find the sheets to suit in
Sydney.
I could get them made but the cost is likely to be much higher for tailor made.
Can anyone help?

Or you could get one that was heaps too big and just keep rotating it around to different sections. That way you could use it for yonks without having to wash it as much.

Sorry to say, we didn't have any luck for ours either.
Ended up getting a cheap 3' set and doing some mods with a sewing machine.
The mattress and sheets etc have since been tossed.

You should make up lttle Suspender-like gizmos with accessories from "Spotlight" or similar haberdashery stores. You need one for each corner of the bottom fitted sheet (single bed size). There are similar items sold to hold ironing board covers snug. The fasteners are very similar to old fashioned ladies suspender snaps. Some are simply small spring loaded clamps with elastic in between.
I have not explained myself very clearly. You put the oversize sheet on and then place a fastener diagonally across each corner (on the underside). It works fine for us in the Coromal camper which has two odd sized mattresses. The top sheets just have to be tucked in normally. We use Doonas to throw over the top.

we sewed on ties to the fitted sheets and used the 3' ones
the 4 ties are on the long side and tie together underneath
the ties work
well as the sheets no longer ruffle up badly
