Sydney area sell HF. Tried Action Communications out Penrith way, but they were more interested in selling me a Sat phone.
Thanks

There's private units on offer at www.vks737.on.net / market page. Also try Barrett Communications and Codan - find their approved resellers - that should cover the main players.

Saw your add in the trader section.
Sounds like a good price. Is it complete?
As for Campbelltown, I have to go to The Oaks tomorrow evening.

Hey Signman,
Guess it's first come first served with your unit, but I've been trying for a while now to arrange a viewing. Tell me now if you're not interested and I'll look elsewhere.
Thanks
Grant

Hi
Try Lake Macquarie Communications. They are at Lake Macquarie on the Central Coast. Doug is the person to speak with - you will find them most helpful and worth the drive.
They run the Radtel
HF radio network and clearly will be able to assist you. They have a website that you can look up.

Gooday Vince,
Good second hand HF is available from the CMCA inconjunction with the
HF Radio Club. I am a member of VKS737 and as mentioned they also have seconds listed. I recommend to join the VKS737 for the safety whilst travelling this great country. You also get to meet and talk to some great people in your travels.
Cheers Brush.

Try Karera Communications in Hornsby.
If you don't want to pay $3000 for a new set, I am selling a Codan 9323 with small Remote Head and multiband antenna for $1500. The 9323 is the one previous to the current model and it does EVERYTHING the current model does. Make phonecalls, quiet until your personal selcall received, send position beacons, others can check your position, send/receive text messages, receive shortwave and AM broadcast, transmit on all 27MHZ CB channels USB and LSB, all 250 channels display the name rather than just meaningless numbers etc
Karera can install it or I can provide the advce to do it yourself.
