Hey reel chippy i haven't used the massojet, but ido use sault assault, i mix it as recomended as use a 5 liter pump spray,it is all you need to spray it under your 4wd and you can mix it in a bucket of
water as
well for the body work.you can spray your 4wd before
the beach as
well, and after i wash it with a good hose fresh
water not to much pressure then reaply Sault assault.
I allso found it helps remove bull dust from all the hard to get spot as
well.
Sault assault is not cheap but but if does what they claim it is cheap inssurence.
Only time will tell !

G'day reelchippy,
What city/suburb do you live in ? Someone that lives close by that owns one may let you try theirs to see if it's worth spending your hard earned dosh. I have one ( don't think much of it ) if you're in the sth bris area.

I have one and use it for the SALT ASSUALT, as
well as getting into all the
places I can't reach with a normal hose. It's great, I can direct the
water right up under and around the fuel tanks as
well as around the transmition and inside the chassis rails.

Brilliant piece of kit. Bought one when they first started touting them at 4WD shows, many years ago. Has been used extensively on many 4B's. Get the applicator while you're at it, makes using Salt Assault a breeze.
Also good for C18.
Cheers.........

If you are buying an Underbody Buddy I would recommend the 900mm unit.
The 600mm is too short to be really practical.
The applicator is a separate component that connects on to the end of any of the massojet 600 or 900 "wand".

hi
being on a restricted budget(tight a***) i made a nozzle from a 1/2inch ball valve and stainless tubing(about 400mm long) with a bend on the end and a couple of retic fittings to connect it to the hose. has full line pressure with a fat flow so it floods every thing underneath. i believe the staun is more of a jet spray.with the deflaters i have a ferret deflater which removes the valve, deflates 1psi/sec.let my 4 tyres down and had a bleep while mates stauns where still going. at $70 verses my $25 i think thats great
cheers

does the ferret allow preset pressure/auto cut-off - if so, any details about where to buy them?

pathfinder
sorry for not getting back to you sooner. the ferret is all manual, no internal springs or anything that can fail on you, thats what i like about it the most.once you attach it to the nozzle and remove the valve stem you count 1sec per psi you want to deflate the tyre then screw the stem back in, so each tyre is about 15-20 sec. the bloke that makes them is only a small operater so if you don't live in
perth you may have some trouble. theres no web site that i know of but his mob # is 0407 383 785 and is called FERRET TOOLS. i hope this helps a bit
cheers
