G'day Wazz,

I'm sure there are but we visited Kakadu this year and had a great time at Jim Jim billabongs. Gotta have a boat though but I presume given your itinerary that you would be taking one.

Kind regards

hi Wazzarrr

people will tell you there are better places than Kakadu, and maybe there is, Litchfield NP is GREAT and very easily to travel around...but IMHO so is Kakadu, we enjoyed it very much, just depends on what you want to see and experience.

The main thing with advice on the best places to go is to listen to all, but factor in possibility that the person advising you may have a totally different set of criteria to what constitutes a "better place". It works both ways;- we've been to places we were warned off and had a ball, and found other places that were recommended not so great. There are a lot of variables within the advice you get, so the best bit of advice I can give is to try and work out if the person offering the advice has a similar outlook to youself. You could go crazy if you listened to everyone, with the conflicting advice you'll invariably get.

BTW, we loved Kakadu as the crowds were thin and spread afar, and Litchfield was great too, but much busier as it's a smaller area to concentrate tourists. Hope this helps,

Andrew
