Hi there jonboy, if you have no Idea I suggest you don't try it, alot of timing marks Crank, cam, diesel pump, if you put on incorrectly you can do major damage, where are you located, I'm in Penrith Sydney know a great mechanic. If you want to give it a go I'd suggest getting your self a manual on the vehicle so you can follow it. I'm not being a smart arse but I'm fairly mechanically minded but some things are best left to the experienced blokes. If you have genuine air the pump will have to be pulled to the side to start with so it's out the way and you go from there. This job is too hard to try and explain on the site. Maybe someone else can lead you to a link which might have some diagrams on where to start.just be carful if you decide to give it a go major damage can be done. Regards Steve M

Hi jonboy
If you get in contact with me on by Monday I will have a diagram from a manual I can fax to you or I can bring it home on Monday and photo copy/email to you.
I can be contacted at here by email or phone
I strongly suggest you change the tensioner and seals while it is down.
Also have good inspection of the power steering adjuster bracket as these have a habit of cracking.
Heater hoses will have to be disconnected so the cooling system will need to be bled to ensure there is no air lock. We usually take the radiator out to reduce the risk of damaging it with a spanner or tool of some sort especially if the harmonic balancer is very tight. You will need a second person to hold the injector pump on its timing mark while you put the belt on. Its not hard but you need to do it right as there is no room for error as these engines break the camshaft in 4 pieces and destroy the heads.
Catch ya
