Hi everyone
Wondering how to make Landy Defender cruise a bit faster
Genuine speed at present about 90km at sensible revs.
Been told fit Disco Transfer but do a of lot van towing so present
gearing is excellent for that. Gnk overdrives sound the go as they
give you the faster speed as you want it. Like to hear from somebody
who knows about them or has one.
Regards Axle

The Dec 2005 Overlander magazine (P92) has an article on a guy who has one (GKN) but there is only a passing mention of it in the article.
Suggest you ask the Rover
forum on the mainly Aussie Outer Limits (
http://www.outerlimits4x4.com) or the mainly UK guys on Land Rover Addict (
http://forums.lr4x4.com/) who may have one.

If you can only cruise at 90kph, then you have a problem with your car - you might want to get it checked out. They will cruise sensibly at the legal limit.

One thing you could try is fitting 255/85R16 size tyres to you car. Seems to be a good size for the defender.

If you want more power talk to Bruce Davis Performance Landy in
Sydney. I have one of his chips and it works a treat.
