No problem so long as you are there at the right tide and can see sand all around the rocks where you want to go. If there is
water, you can become another statistic at the pub.
Rocks tend to hid themselves under the
water waiting to trap a foolish 4WD driver and get them hung up not to mention holes and gutters that are deeper than they look. There is also the surf that catches the unwary.
My policy is there must be another way if I have to drive through sea
water - if there is no other way, wait for low tide, never had to take the 3rd alterative yet.
I have driven around these rocks a few times at low tide with no problems at all. All a matter of timing as to when you want to be on
the beach and when you want to be off it.
