Howdy from the land of the computer cretin .

I had some credits and as I was interested in doing a trip up the Hay River , I downloaded the two files about this with some credits I had .

I do not use Explor Oz software - it scared me !
Is there any use I can make of these downloads with my Magellan GPS ?

I did a search on the threads for plot files , but got very little info although it's possible I buggered that up too .

I'm useless , sorry .

Willie .

Willie - how are you?. Ok - if you wish to use them with your Magellan you will have to convert them to the right format...more software to "scare" you. You can use GPSBabel..but that may cause you angst as well. It would be an easy task with OziExplorer (not Exploroz as you call it ...get it right:).
Cheers

Willie, its an easy program to use , even an old timer like me has mastered the essentials. There's lots in there but the basic functions are eeezee.

Footloose,
I downloaded the free trial version once and when I tried to use it I just went round and round in ever decreasing circles . I wish I had a friend in Sydney who used it and could give me a tutorial . Then I might have a chance .
We old geezas have to stick together .
Thanks ,
Willie

Willie,
A short trip over to Mona Vale and some training from Brian at GPSOz will have you running OziExplorer like a champion.
Give Brian a ring, he'd be pleased to hear from you,

Geoff.
Geoff,
