... and the conversation wound it’s way to home renovations (which I STILL haven’t finished...), and the appliances our women folk want for the kitchens.

One of the guys in this conversation was telling us all, about the Bosch range of cookware, whilst another was eschewing the benefits of Blanco.

Whoa!! I was going all dizzy here... These guys were messing with my head, saying all these words I’ve never heard of, all these... foreign sounding words, these names, these brands, of kitchen ware.

Well, they looked at me, and it must have showed, Wolfie was looking decidedly uneasy...

“What you got Wolfie, in your kitchen?”

Well, talk about being put on the spot!!!

I wouldn’t have a clue. All I know, is that it’s white, well, that’s if we haven’t spilt stuff on it, and it get hot, and it’s got a buzzer on it, which Kobi ALWAYS barks at when it goes off. Hell, I don’t even know how to turn the grill on...

I was cornered, they had me, and they knew it.

“Coleman.”

“What???” They say.

“Coleman.” I repeat. “Don’t give a rat’s about all ya fancy names, all I know, is when Tracy & I go away, we got this green Coleman thing, and for some strange reason, we ALWAYS, always, have the BEST meals from this little beat up stove.”

There is just something, about going through life, on the crusty side, and enjoying it, don’t you think?

Just had to share that with ya....

Cheers

Steve, I think they just inwardly shook their heads. Maybe they should come up the River with us, and taste REAL food!!!

Cheers

Save your breath Wolfie.

Oneof two things would happen. 1 They would get a bit of dirt under their finger nails and complain for the entire time they were there, thus spoiling an otherwise good weekend.

or and this would be far worse. 2 They might just have a great time and want to go camping as a regular thing. This leads to our favourite campsites being crowded out all the time forcing us further and further out just to get a bit of piece and quiet.

I recommend that we all just keep quiet about the coleman and the camp oven, and swags, tents camper trailers and especially about how much fun it all is. :0)))))

Stick to the Coleman Wolfie. Those other gadgets make a serious hole in the funds available for worthwhile pursuits.

Totally agree, no distortion there whatsoever!!

I have managed to buy 3 top shelf kayaks, which would amount to the same value as the cooker...lol...

So, I have my plastic navy, and a Coleman, which I can enjoy anywhere, whilst they have to stay at home....

I've got it all figured out, dontcha reckon?

I do Eric, I do enjoy what I have.

When these guys were at my work, they were starting to annoy me, so I went all pleb like on 'em...lol...

If Tracy has her way, she'll have all those fancy name brands too,I guess. As long as I've still got my Coleman....

Cheers

Ian,

Do you mean you make Tracy "paddle her own canoe (kyak)"

Shame! Shame! Shame!
