Just what I needed ! Had a new very expensive biocycle loo put in a couple of weeks ago and the earthmoving guys threw some dirt over my stormwater drain ends. Last big rains washed half of driveway down the hill and flooded the garage (where this puter is), not nice at all. Front yard looks like a 4wd obsticle course at the moment, gullies and stuff everywhere.
So much for trying to look after the environment.

You just hand them a kings randsom and you get to be so green that it hurts LOL
In my case I used to have an absorption trench system that wasn't great for a creek so decided to go over to the dark side.
Seriously, all the household waste water and solids break down using microbes. Or something. The end result is a bit of water spraying over the garden that's extremely clean. So there's no septic or grease traps etc, just a big tank in the garden with 240V pumps and an alarm syetm inside that is serviced a few times a year. Now I'll bet your loo doesn't have such a seriously cool feature like an alarm system. Mind you I could of bought 1/2 a decent s/h Landcruiser for the price.
This green business is all very well but the average family can't afford it without some serious $$ from somewhere.

There was an article in one of the papers months ago that said to be totally green you first have to go (into the) red :))))
