I am having trouble finding
places that sell Waeco in
Sydney . Their website gave me only one obscure place in East
Sydney .
( They did not have what I wanted in their seconds department ).
Thanks ,
Willie .

I know you want to buy in
Sydney but I bought from The Fridgeshop in Qld. They have
shop soiled/slightly damaged units with full warranty and cheap delivery to
Sydney.

They just charged me $45 delivery on a CF-50 not $10 , but it was a decent discount on the fridge .
Thanks everybody for all your help . They did not have a CF-40AC so I went up to the CF-50 AC .

Willie,
just had a gander at their site... They have modified the delivery details to "from $10"...

Willie,
If any of the super cheap stores have older models then they usually sell these fairly cheap, might be worth a phone call.
Trevor.

Hi Willie:
Just noticed the January special on this website for $899, which seemed OK to me. Not sure what you are looking to pay, but I thought that price was alright if I was in the market for a Waeco.

you won't regret it Willie. Can't go wrong with either Waeco or Engel. It's the Holden/Ford, Toyota/Nissan syndrome. Neither are perfect in every way but the best on the market for most of us. You'll always get the odd "experience"

the fridge cuts out regularly of a night.. i have 3 batteries, and after the fridge cuts out they still have 11-12 volts. i had 6mm wire and thought it may be too thin, so replaced it with thicer wire, but same problem.
over crristmas, ambient temperature high thirties, the fridge would only run for 3 or so hours, so beer was warm.
it runs ok on the 240 volt adapter. i will try to run it throug an inverter and see if this helps.

Fred - if it works fine on 240volt, then I'd say you have a problem with your vehicle wiring - so don't blame the fridge. I had similar problems and have now run 8 mil wire straight to the fridge - no connections (apart from 20 amp fuse at battery) or plug fittings etc - problem solved... Spoke to a fridge mechanic last week who said the danfoss compressors used in Waecos are far superior to the compressors used in the new Engels - reckons they'll go forever...

Willie,
I know it's a bit late, but why not pop down to the guys that import most of the Waeco fridges into Australia? They are called Coast to Coast RV, and are just behind
Dundas station (down your neck of the woods...).
I was up there a couple of weeks ago, and they had quite a few end of model specials. They also had things like retractable awnings, DVD players, and all manner of odds and sods.
I spent a good hour just chatting about this and that - real friendly guys.
Cheers,
Chump
PS - If you see a white 105 series cruiser at the shops with Urban Warrior stickers all over the back, pop over and say hi. I live just round the corner.....

Hi Chump Boy ,
I took your suggestion to heart and this morning I headed down to see Coast to Coast at
Dundas BUT they have closed down or moved - there was no
sign to give any indication which .
Do you know anything about their whereabouts ?
Did not see your 105 down there , but I saw a nice dark
grey Landie .
Thanks ,
Willie .
