Has anyone had anything to do with the "Custom Boat Loader" built in WA.
I am thinking of buying one but am on the east coast so too far away to look at one in the flesh.

Hi ACDC

Your post seems a little ambigous.

Who had a customer who didn't like the Custom Boat Loader - it seems strange as usually it is the reverse situation ;-)) ?

Each to his own we know but I'd bet our product against anything else made in Australia.

Regards,

Bill n Di

You could have the best product on the market but there will always be someone it does not suit..

Haza

They are worth about $2500 i think. A bit dear but what is the price of a bad back??

The attraction is they have a built in luggage rack. As I have a Patrol wagon the extra space would be good

Roof Rack World probably?

They are a Rhino Rack distributor.

I have a Custom Boat Loader for my 100 series. I bought it because I felt that the advantage of having the roof rack combined with the boat loader system put it above the rhino system but each to their own.
Can't beat loading the tinnie using the 12 v drill. So simple and always draws a crowd at the beach.

It's the Custom Boat Loader designed here in WA but I thought was going to be available through Opposite Lock shops around the country (could be wrong about that but a google should come up with details).
I bought mine very early in the design phase so my price was less than what is out there now, so not really relevant in the market now.
It's rock solid and the ropes hold down the boat without additional tie downs.

Hi Allan et al,

Are you in QLD? Opposite Lock Brisbane recently sold 2 - 1 a GU - I'm sure they could demonstrate it to you as they have one there at the store.

And yes OL is a official dealer thru out Aust. If anyone has any queries feel free to contact Bill on the numbers given.

Also for those in VIC we will be at the Wandin North 4WD show Feb 19th - come along a have a look.

Seamus - are you GS??

Cheers,

Bill n Di

In Adelaide there is Roofrack city in Gilbert St Adelaide or Sunshade Products on Main North Rd , I found Sunshade products are very expensive in the stuff they sell.

I think that is the one that was designed by a bloke down around the Capel area and sold through Dingy World?
If so, it is very diffrent to the rino and Custom boat Loader, and not really in the same class.
Again, it all depends on what guys want and their perception of ease of use and cost.
