Anyone know where I can get some 4wd maps (or similar) for the Blue Mountains. I heard there are plenty of tracks to explore but have only found a couple so far.

The "Map Centre" in Parramatta is brilliant. They are on Church St cnr of Grose st. Ph 9890 2080 and www.mapcentre.com.au.
They have everything. 1:25000 topographics, State Forest, NPWS tourist 1:190000 and 1:100000 of the area. They have never let us down, and we buy lotsa maps.

You might also try the Dept of Lands in Sydney (City) (They used to be called Dept of Lands but may have changed their name) and there's also a map shop in Willoughby Road, Crows Nest. You might check the Yellow Pages under "Maps" or similar.

Froilan.... Give the NPWS in Blackheath a call too. They were quite helpful when I called them and pointed out a few that aren't on the regular tourist maps.
