have an old set of the pajero nm commercial roof racks which i've been told are the re-badged rhino racks.

have since sold the pajero and now have a prado 120 with the roof rails.

would like to use the bars itself but would need new mounting brackets. I called roof rack city and was told that a set of 2 (to fit one bar) cost around $120!!!!

this cannot be correct!! anyone out there have done the same. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Get a comparative quote from another distributor. Sounds like they are ripping you off.

Roof Rack World in S.A. lists a Rhino-Rack three bar system to suit a Prado without Load Rails for $420 complete and a two bar system to suit a Prado with Factory Load Rails for $260.

you can always get a metal fabricator to make some for you.

Should cost a lot less than that.
