I am giving consideration to replacing my Cibie Super Oscars (reflectors badly damaged from moisture) with a pair of Lightforce 240's.
Does anyone have these particular lights fitted to a GU TD42 and if so have they experienced any overheating problems from possible airflow restrictions? Any comments on these lights and a comparison with the Super Oscars will be greatly appreciated.

Stevo lightforce lights are very good, as well as Aussie.

I've got 170's on my Pajero, because the 240's were just TOO BIG.

These things are HUGE.

I Think Truckster has them on his Patrol though, so he may be able to give a better indication of fit.

If you want the 240s Im picking up 8 sets so far tomorrow. All are accounted for at the BARGAIN PRICE $336.50 inc GST. instead of $380-400 retail.

Im in Melbourne, and have 2 sets for interstaters. the more I sell the better price I might get!!!

If your interested, call me, and I'll get you the bank details for direct dep then I can pay tomorrow for them. 0400 425 296.

They go well on a GQ, mate has them on his, and they will be on mine replacing my Rally 2000's which are forsale in the forsale section at the moment for nearly 1/2 price!!!!

Well picked up MOST of the lightforce 240 lights today...

We ended up with 8 orders for a total of 12 sets sold (they were still calling today!)! My car is worth an extra $2500+ at the moment!!!

They still have the $415 price tags on them, we paid $337! Im happy.

So go the 240s!! Wonder if I can fit 4 of them on instead! :D

I might have one set left over... but its a retail place IM gettin em from, so I could just order another set :D... I have to go back as they didnt have enough in stock for what I needed! :(

If ya interested, mail me at home, td42t@optusnet.com.au and I'll mail the bank details to ya, direct Deposit, adn then we are set.

Im working on the bloke, he says he might be able to ship them free to their interstate stores and you can pick up from there.

I'm in Melbourne.

Truckster

I'm certainly interested if another set is avaliable (a waiting period does not worry me). I'm located in Leeton NSW, have easy access to Griffith and Wagga. Also my old man could possibly pick them up (in Melbourne) as he is located in Ballarat. I suppose if the store you are purchasing them from has a store in the above towns that will work pretty fine for me.

I will be able to direct deposit into your bank account on Tuesday (public holiday in NSW on Monday for Aust Day).

My work email is not letting me send stuff at the moment, but I can recieve mail, feel free to contact me at jamesl@pasminco.com.au
