Have to go to
Batemans Bay for a “Family” wedding in late March and will be taking the camper trailer for accommodation. Looking for suggestions/recommendations of
places to stay in the area, so the formal duties can be fulfilled as
well as having a bit of a look around the region for a few days whilst there.
Looking forward to everyones suggsetions
Cheers

Some great spots around the Bay....try Broulee, Mossy Point, Moruya heads, Tuross,
Pebbly Beach, have a quick squiz at the Mogo Zoo, north of the Bay there are a few 4X4 access roads as
well. Best van park is the one just on the northern side of the
Bridge....

Depends what you want to do.
Our family's pick for a quality caravan park 20 minutes south of
Batemans Bay is the Broulee Beach Caravan Park link text
About 20 minutes north of
Batemans Bay at
Pebbly Beach

Again, about 20 minutes north of
Batemans Bay but inland a little on the Clyde River is the
Shallow Crossing Camp Ground

Have a greaty weekend.

Hi, we were down that way in October for a few weeks. I personally didn't like Shallow Crossing much, and though that it was a bit of a rip off! We ended up at
Yadboro Flat just up past Pigeon House mountains, this is a fantastic, but basic camping ground, and free, beside a river.
We also stayed at the
Batemans Bay Beach Resort, which was gorgeous, and quite cheap (great amenities,
camp kitchen,
pool, beach etc.). The other park just near the
Bridge (Easts Van Park) is also great, if you can get a riverside site.
If you are feeling very adventurous, you could head to
Bendethera Valley - now that is spectacular!!!!
Hope this helps - JO
