Bugger! Almost missed it. All the very best OLD fella :))))))

About the only thing missing from your truck is one of those dangley, glow in the dark skeletons to hang from your rear view mirror, or is it the 150cm flat screen monitor that replaced the standard mirror LOLOLOL

Yeh, thaks very much everybody.

You'll be pleased to know that Annette got me something that shows me where to go (so that when I've been TOLD where to go, I'll know how to get there!!!) camping. hahaha

I don't think this growing-old caper is all it's cracked up to be; but then again I can't remember what it was like being young, so what the hell....I'll just keep living life as though today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Cheers and beers

Roachie,

Obviously it must have been one of these

GPS walkers

Let's say Grandpa regularly grabs his walker and heads off to bed but winds up in the neighbor's garage.

Stanford has built a prototype of an intelligent walker with embedded sensors, voice recognition and Global Positioning System technology. Grandpa might stand in his walker and say "bedroom." The GPS combined with indoor sensors could know where the walker is, map the route to the bedroom and avoid hazards such as stairs, low furniture and the cat while guiding Grandpa to bed.

Hahahahaha

G'day Bonz,
Thanks too for your well wishes.....
The turbo is a Schwitzer as supplied and fitted by Denco (or in my case their agent, Berri Diesel Service, SA)
I'm very pleased with the result and if your mate wants to discuss it I'd be more than happy to phone him etc. MM me if you like.....
Cheers mate

Happy birthday Bill, When you get to your age, and remember all those younger than you have yet to get to your age.... I forgot what I was going to say, must be old age.

Isn't that great that if you can't do something that you can blame it on old age. I am still doing the same things as I did when I was 20, but it just takes longer for the body to recover.
