Does anyone have any info on rest stops around the Skipton area in western Vic. Have checked for camping grounds but alas none. Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers 4 now

Hi Mike,
This information is over 12 months old and relates to Hema Map reference for the area. It was in a list given to me regarding free/cheap Campsites in Victoria and gleaned from the Net.
Map 39 E10 Scarsdale=Woady Yaloak Picnic Ground
Free overnight camping.
24k SW
Ballarat on
Glenelg Hwy.
Pleasant level flats near Woady Yaloak picnic ground.
Well shaded by rows of mature pines. A little overgrown and neglected. Swimming hole.
Bench,shelter, BBQ. Creek water.
Some one else may be able to give you an update on the site.
Good luck.
A bit further on at Lake Bolac is a camping ground but that is about 100 clicks away and about $10 a night.
